Self Portrait Bracelet This idea comes to us from Linda from PA, who teaches 5 th graders in public school. She likes this project because it encourages the children to think about the things they value, as well as helping her to get to know her students better- Each student makes 6 charms from PolyShrink that reflect things they like or are interested in. They make charms with pictures or symbols of their pets, their favorite sports & activities, favorite color or foods. The children use Clear or Translucent PolyShrink, and colored pencils to make their charms. Holes are punched in the charms before baking. Jump rings are added to the charms to make bracelets or anklets.
