PolyShrink type: Clear

Punch: Emagination

Art Supplies:
Prismacolor colored pencils,
Krylon Leafing Pen (optional)

Quick and fun to make and you get great embellishments from both the interior and exterior die cuts.

Metallic markers can be used to make ornaments on the trees, or to outline the edges.

Instructions

Sand a piece of Clear PolyShrink. Cut a portion of the sheet that will accommodate the number of embellishments you want to make. If you want to use the interior of the cut outs, allow some extra space between.

(Here, we're using 1/4 sheet of PolyShrink, which will allows space to 2 trees)

Select 3 to 5 colored pencils. Make an open pattern with your first color.

Do the same with your next color...

...and the next....
....until you have a moderately tight pattern.

Turn the punch upside down and punch out your first shape.

*Note: Some punches can require a good deal of force to punch through PolyShrink. If needed, you can place the punch on the floor and press with your foot to make punching easier.

Punch another shape toward the opposite edge.
Trim a rectangle around each interior cut out. Don't trim too close. A generous border is better and won't be too narrow after baking.
Bake your pieces.

After baking the colors intensify.

A coat of sealer is recommended for the side with the pencil. If you'd like the front side to be shiny, leave without sealer. If you'd like a matte surface, apply a coat of matte spray sealer.
