Instructions |
|
Sand a sheet of Clear PolyShrink. Cut the sheet into quarters. These pieces will fit easily into the die cutter. Die cut the shapes. If you want mirror image versions, position the PolyShrink with the sanded side up one time and down the next. Remember that after shrinking, colors will intensify. A moderate application will be fine. |

| Press the pad directly onto the shape. | ![]() |
| The shape will usually stick to the pad. Gentle press the shape against the pad with your finger if the ink hasn't transferred completely. | ![]() |
| Remove the shape from the pad, touching the back side as little as possible. | ![]() |
If needed, buff any ink from the front of the spiral. |
|
Handle pieces by the edges as much as possible. Bake the shapes. Oven baking is often easiest if you need to bake numerous small pieces. There's no need to allow drying time. The heat needed to shrink the pieces will dry as well as set the ink. Use a spray sealer after baking if desired. Use of a sealer is recommended if you plan to mount the spirals with the inked side up. Please see our Sealers Page for more information. |
