Black PolyShrink Frame with Gelly Roll Glaze pens

Gelly Roll Glaze pens are great on PolyShrink. They work best when applied after baking.

Gelly Rolls are semi- transparent and need to be applied over a light ground to appear bright. For use on Black PolyShrink, it is necessary to "back" these transparent colors by applying opaque marker before baking, and then applying the Gelly Roll markers over the lighter colors.

Just follow the steps below:

Instructions

Begin by trimming an existing frame with regular or patterns scissors.

Next, apply dots or other designs in Sharpie Silver, or lighter colors of Galaxy markers. Krylon Leafing pens as well as other brands may be used.

If using dots, leave some space between them so that they won't be too crowded after shrinking.

When all the dots are completed, shrink the frame. Be sure that the frame cools is a flattened position.

Apply the Gelly Roll ink on top of the dots. Pressure on the tip of Gelly Roll pens releases the ink. The flow is gradual enough to be readily controlled.

Apply just enough to cover the dots. Over application can lead to the ink migrating outside the dot area.

Place the finished frame on a level surfaced and allow to dry thoroughly. (This could take several hours.) Once dried, a coat or two of spray sealer is recommended.
