for moms and kids has expanded her repertoire to include brightly
colored accessories made of PolyShrink™ shrink plastic and
from polymer clay. She works in all mediums, chalk pastels, Prismacolor
pencils, and paints to get the effects shown here.
Kirsten and her partner Susan Gutierrez have formed a rubber
stamp company called Take Out Rubber Stamps. The Take
Out catalog features over 200 original designs.

Techniques-
Snake Pin:
Canvas White PolyShrink, sanded, then colored with
chalk pastels. Stamped last, in Fabrico ink with Take Out rubber.
Chicken Pin:
Image hand drawn on White PolyShrink with permanent
black marker, colored with Prismacolor pencils, then baked.
Shard Necklace:
Intaglio on White with Take Out rubber. After completing
Intaglio design, painted with a heavy coat of Mod Podge®
tinted with watercolors. Silver metallic marker on edges.
