"I am a self taught artist who has experience in paper arts, collage work, design, decorative painting, and jewelry work. I have been working in arts and crafts for about five years and have chosen to specialize in PolyShrink for the past two.
Although my degrees are in psychology and elementary education, it was because of my teaching experience that I revived my childhood love of bright colors and whimsical themes. My parents believe that I had more fun inventing and practicing the art projects I introduced to the students, than perhaps the kids did themselves.
My work experience in elementary education has reawakened my childhood love of crafts and the world of "make believe." I seek to express this in my work. I enjoy working with whimsical colors and characters, giving my pieces a lighthearted air that I hope will reach the child inside each of my clients."

"The designs are all from my original drawings. I use Translucent PolyShrink and a combination of Prismacolor artist layout markers & colored pencils to get the combinations of bright & more muted tones. I also use the markers to add any detailing to the work.
The top coat is epoxy resin...I really like the finish that this gives the pieces."
