Arlene Rose - AKA Sundaystamper lives in Western New York. She is married with two grown children. She has been stamping for over 25 years and crafting long before that.

She has designed images for Time To Stamp and her stamp art has been published in Vamp Stamp News, Stampers Sampler, The Rubber Stamper and many web sites. She has taught in stamp stores in the Rochester area as well as libraries and on line. Currently she is creating art and stamping classes for online companies.

 


Incredible Shrinking Woman-
Supplies:

  • Clear/ Canvas White PolyShrink
  • sandpaper
  • sm. beads
  • Crafters ink/ Fresco pads
  • 26-gauge wire
  • round nose pliers, wire cutters
  • plastic cement
  • asstd. stamps
  • heat gun
  • pin back
  • Suze embossing sheet
  • long reach 1/8" round punch or rivet hole punch hammer

Card/ pin above:

Take one-piece White PolyShrink and sand thoroughly to rough up. Stamp with Fresco ink using Hero Arts shadow stamps #H1963, C1874 & C1973. Gently trim out without disturbing the inked area. Punch out holes for arms and legs. Now stamp using the Sunday International collage stamp and brown Crafters ink. Heat to shrink. Glue together and attach wires as per sample.
Cut one piece beige confetti card stock 5" x 9" and fold in half. Stamp
with Cranberry Adirondack using Paper Inspirations #L1114 Garden Word Collage stamp on the front of the card. Glue strip of red confetti card stock then using punch placeholes on card according to sample and attach pin.

Take one-piece Clear PolyShrink and sand thoroughly to rough up. Cut out a 2" circle, and a 3" x 4" rectangle. Rub in lots of chalk pastels for the background color. Now, with contrasting ink, stamp the face with JudiKins stamp #2329F. Stamp the body with Just for Fun stamp # 1022H. Punch holes using 1/8" round punch.

Place one piece at a time on Suze embossing sheet in box top and heat with heat gun until it flattens.

Glue together and attach wire arms, legs and hair. Glue on pin back.
